Thats it mate, dont clean them. I used to move mine around too much, but now I just leave them be and let the light do its thing. My T5 lighting helps a lot, and I've noticed the algae grows pretty quickly unless the fish get to it first. The only downside is the glass gets all covered in it too, which is a right pain to clean. Thanks for the kind words, kalevi's got some great pics but they don't quite do it justice - I'm thinking of adding some taller vallis and a few more fish, then I reckon it'll be just about perfect.

I've got a feeling my two BNs will be the main culprits preventing me from getting the algae to grow. They just love grazing on it, I've seen them at it already. I'm guessing it's going to be a challenge to get the rocks looking as nice as yours, kalevi.
