Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Gonna try Anubias and Bolbitis tied to rocks. Hopefully my cichlids chill out.

Good call. Just be patient—they might still mess with it at first. Cichlids are stubborn.

Yeah, mine took a week to stop digging. Now they just swim around the Anubias like it's part of the furniture. Sketchy at first, but it works.

If they keep digging, try adding more rocks or caves. Sometimes they're just bored or territorial. More structure can help.
