Re: How to move adult Discus

I'm in the process of moving my adult Discus to a new setup and I'm looking for advice on the best way to do it. The trip should take about 20 minutes, so it's less than an hour to get them settled in their new tank. The water is the same at the receiving end.

Should I bag them individually for the trip?
Also, do I need to stop feeding them before the move?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Too bad I'm not nearby, those Blue Diamonds would've found a new home in my fish room.

Thanks Daniel.

I got those from Jack Wattley Discus earlier this year and they've developed nicely, I think.
They were weird about food though - wouldn't touch Wattley's beef heart mix, but they grew well on All's blackworms and Tetracolor tropical granules.

A cooler with insulation and a secure lid could be a viable alternative.
