My rio 240 cichlid aquarium setup

Hi everyone, I'm excited to share my Rio 240 cichlid tank with you. As you can see from the pics, it's pretty empty - only a Johanni cichlid, a sunnygold cichlid, and a golden cichlid call it home. I'd love to hear your suggestions on some new cichlid additions for this tank.

I think it's a good idea to stick to cichlids from the same lake when stocking. I'm no expert on cichlids, so I'm hoping someone with more experience can give you a better answer.

Fawnio, I agree with sticking to same lake species. Mixing can be a gamble, sometimes it works out but often it doesn't.

Completely on board with roads' suggestion, sticking to same lake species is generally a safer bet for cichlid stocking.
