Real helpful, squidink. Oceanus, ignore that. Double up on water changes, like porkbun said. And maybe feed a bit less to cut down on waste.

You guys think it's worth trying to patch the crack? Or just scrap the whole tank?

Patching's sketchy with bottom cracks. Even if it holds, the structural integrity's compromised. I'd retire it and look for a new one.

Agreed. Not worth the risk of another blowout. Check Craigslist or local groups for cheap used tanks. People are always upgrading or getting out of the hobby.

And this time, maybe go acrylic if you're worried about cracks. Heavier, but way more durable. My 75's acrylic, and I've bumped it plenty with no issues.
