Re: care and feeding of the green chromis
Sorry Harry, my pics would be a letdown - my 10$ camera just isn't up to the job, and I'm a 15 year old on a tight budget. I wish I could show you how the chromis look in my tank, but I just can't seem to get a decent shot. Experiment with lighting though, it makes a huge difference - different lights bring out different colors on the fish. Just remember, water quality is key, that's what really makes the colors pop. Good luck with your tank!

I remember when we reduced feeding in our tank to sort a phosphate issue, they quickly started bullying each other.

I'd have to disagree with the notion they're boring - I recently saw a group of 25 at the aquarium shop and they genuinely looked impressive. Having a large group of small ones in a spacious tank would be visually appealing.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of them in groups less than 8 - they seem a bit more skittish and timid. I know some people might say 3 is the minimum, but personally, I'd aim to build a group of at least 8.

I personally think Wreck Fish and Anthias outshine them, especially once you've got a dominant male, they're absolutely stunning. In my opinion, Chromis just get big and grumpy, but that's just my view.
