You can get captive-bred orchids from ORA, they're available. I've seen them at my work, just got some in recently. Your LFS should be able to get one for you, just ask them to order from ORA.

If I could pull off a tang in a 55, do you think a baby tang would thrive in a 50 gallon with a sump, essentially making it a 65 gallon system.

In the UK, a 55g tank is actually equivalent to nearly 70 US gallons, so the space issue isn't the same when comparing the two.

I'll check out the orchid dottyback, how do they get along with royal grammas though?
