Update: Did the 50% change. Betta's fine, shrimp are hiding but alive. Java Ferns still droopy but not worse. Substrate's Fluval Stratum. Normally dose once a week, half cap. Gonna use a syringe from now on, luckydug.

Stratum's decent for buffering, but it can hold onto excess ferts. Stick to the plan—another change tomorrow. And yeah, syringe's a game-changer. I mark mine with tape for doses.

Glad the livestock's okay. Plants might take a week to perk up. If they don't, trim the worst leaves. New growth'll come in healthier. Keep us posted.
