raising kribensis successfully
I've had these 2 kribensis for a bit over 3 months now. Initially, they were at each other's throats, but after a while, they settled down and paired up. Their colors became really vibrant - the female's body turned this deep, rich purple. They then started digging out a nest under a hollow ornament, so I've got no idea what's going on in there. This morning, I noticed their colors have gone back to normal. I'm wondering if this is a sign that I'm about to have some babies or if something's gone wrong. They still swim together and the male is still defending that ornament like his life depends on it. I'm hesitant to move the ornament just in case - any advice would be appreciated.

Don't stress too much, breeding kribs are pretty aggressive but they're great parents. They'll take care of their young, just make sure you've got a plan for the fry in a couple months, that's all.
