setting up a small saltwater aquarium: advice needed

Post by turtlego »

Hey everyone, so I've got a 36 gallon freshwater tank right now, but I'm upgrading to a 55 gallon soon, also freshwater. My kid really wants a Dog Face Puffer fish, says it looks cool. I'm trying to figure out how to make it work. What's the minimum tank size for these guys? Any advice would be great, thanks.

Hello there, welcome to the forums. They get pretty big. A 55 gallon tank might not be enough, I would definitely recommend at least a 100 gallon tank for a full-grown Puffer fish.
