Stendker Checkerboard Losing Red Markings

Hi everyone, I'm reaching out for some help with one of my Stendker Checkerboards. Over the past few weeks, I've noticed he's losing his distinctive red markings - it started around the center of his sides and seems to be moving outward. He's about 5 years old, and apart from this color change, everything else seems normal - behavior, appetite, all good. The red lines are gradually disappearing, and the outer red markings are shifting to an orange color before fading to white. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? Any advice or guidance would be really appreciated.

I think some photos would really help here. Are you using any food with red enhancers in it?
