do you prefer root tabs or liquid ferts?

Root tabs all the way. I've got a 55 gallon with swords, crypts, and vals. Tabs made everything take off. Liquids are great for the stems and floaters, but the root feeders need that extra punch.

Liquid ferts are more versatile, but root tabs have their place. It's not an either-or situation. Use both if your plants demand it. Monitor growth and adjust accordingly.
