Nope, Crypts are too slow for my taste. If you want fast and easy, go with Duckweed. Just be ready to scoop it out forever once it's in there.

Duckweed is the herpes of the aquarium world. Once you've got it, you're stuck with it. But hey, it's great for nitrate control.

If you're worried about Duckweed taking over, try Salvinia instead. It's similar but easier to manage, and it doesn't stick to everything like Duckweed does.

Appreciate all the input. I think I'll start with Java Fern and Anubias, maybe add Hornwort later. Sounds like they're forgiving enough for my setup.
