Honestly, that thing freaks me out. No clue if it's harmless or not, but I'd advise against releasing them into your tank just yet. You'll have a nightmare trying to round them up again if they turn out to be trouble.

From what I know, Eunice worms are supposed to have these 5 little tentacle-like things coming out of their heads.

Does this worm have segments or not? The pic doesn't seem to show any.

I'm not convinced it's a Eunice worm. Could it be a type of Cucumber instead? I'm no expert, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

I found this link that shows something similar - http/images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...t%3D72%26um%3D1. Not an exact match, but it's worth a look.

Looks like it, yeah. Guy who gave 'em to me thought so too, sea cucumber. Still can't find my camera cable, but 100% it's like the 1st pic I posted, defo.

Looks like it, yeah. Guy who gave them to me thought it was a sea cucumber. Still can't find my camera cable, but that first pic I posted is defo the same. That is one ugly looking echinoderm, and you have two of 'em... do you have enough food in your tank for them?

Yeah, looks like it, the guy who gave 'em to me thought it was a sea cucumber too. Still can't find that stupid PLione cable but defo a match with the first pic I posted earlier.

That's one ugly echinoderm, and I've got two of 'em. Got enough food in the tank for 'em, but turns out LFS thinks they're different, not a sea cucumber after all. Still trying to figure out what they are, got 'em in the sump for now.
