I'm currently setting up a 24 gallon nano tank FOLWR system and I'm really excited to add some fish inspired by Finding Nemo. I'm looking to get 1 or 2 ocellaris clown fish, tank-bred juveniles, to represent Nemo and Marlin. I'd also love to add a Dory, but since regal tangs are too aggressive and need a bigger tank, I'm thinking of adding a yellow-tailed damsel fish instead.
My main concern is whether clownfish and yellow-tailed blue damsels will get along. I know damsel fish can be aggressive, but since clownfish are also a type of damsel, I'm worried they might fight. Has anyone had any experience keeping these two species together?
Also, I'd love to hear any recommendations for other Finding Nemo characters that would be suitable for my tank, or maybe some nano-friendly alternatives.

Re: My nemo aquarium setup.
I'm having second thoughts about the damsel, do you think I should put it in last or just not bother, I'm worried about the aggression issues.
Re: My nemo aquarium setup.
Dont bother with the damsel, they're a handful, always causing trouble. Nightmare to catch and once you've got one, you'll be desperate to get rid of it. I've seen people trying to give them away for weeks, can't shift them.
