coral dip: which one works best?

I've been using Coral RX for a while, but my Zoanthids still get pests. Anyone got a better dip that actually cuts it? My tank's a 40-gallon with T5 lighting, and I do weekly 10% water changes.

I've had good luck with Revive. It's gentle but gets the job done. My Acros and LPS haven't shown any stress after dipping. What's your water flow like? High flow might help rinse off pests better.

Try Bayer Advanced. It's sketchy to use at first, but it nukes everything. Just rinse well after. My Montis haven't had a single flatworm since I switched.

I've heard mixed things about Bayer. Some say it's too harsh. Have you considered a two-step dip? Like Revive first, then a quick iodine bath? My Torches seem to handle that combo well.

Yep, Bayer's a beast, but it works. Just don't go full strength. I dilute it 50/50 with tank water, dip for 5 minutes, then rinse like crazy. My Duncan's never looked happier. What's your salt mix? Might play a role too.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. Gonna try Bayer and see if it's less of a hassle than Coral RX. My salt's Red Sea Blue, if that matters.

How long do you rinse? I've heard some folks do 10 minutes in fresh saltwater after.

I go 15 minutes to be safe. My tank's got a bunch of sensitive stuff, like Gonis and Hammers. No issues so far. Also, make sure your temp matches during rinsing. Sudden changes mess with them.

Totally agree on the temp thing. I use a spare heater in the rinse bucket. Oh, and don't forget to check for eggs. Some dips miss those, and then you're back to square one.
