GH for Tropheus species needs to be at least 300ppm, same for most other Lake Tanganyikan fishes. Lake Malawi and Lake Victoria fish can get by with a lower GH, but even they need 250ppm+.
Freeze dried bloodworms and Tubifex can be given to Tropheus a couple of times a week - just avoid frozen or live ones, that's a recipe for disaster. Tropheus are vegetarkento4, with a long digestive tract that can't handle meat. Plant matter and small insects or insect larvae are best, something with a high fibre content.
Most fish flakes are fine, just try to avoid the ones with grains like wheat flour - fish can't digest that, it's just filler. You can try keeping the Pundamilia with the Tropheus, but it might end up stunted or malnourished without enough protein. Most people keep Tropheus in a single species tank, makes it easier to cater to their needs.
