A twenty gallon aquarium setup

Got a free 20 gallon tank and I'm thinkin' of puttin' some cichlids in there that'll be active and fun to watch. Maybe some Rams, I've heard they're pretty cool. Any other recommendations would be great, along with some decent tank mates to go with 'em.

Need some advice here, got a free 20 gallon tank and I'm looking for some cichlids that'll thrive in it, plus be pretty active. Was thinking maybe some Rams, but open to other suggestions, and also some tank mate ideas to go with whatever you guys recommend.

bolivians or kribs would be a good choice, but personally i'd wait about 6 months for the tank to establish itself before adding any of the other varieties. or you could do a krib-only tank, just a pair and let them raise their fry.
