i'm thinking of some colourful fish for my tank, something that'll really make it pop, you know?

i'd love a few bigger ones, rather than loads of little ones, just to make it look more impressive, but i know that means no nemo, lol, oh well.

pink and yellow fish would be amazing, can't imagine how cool that would look.

as for my little 17 litre tank, i know it's not ideal, but if i had to choose something for it, what would you guys say would be okay?

I already have a tank, external filter, heater and all that jazz...

But if I was starting from scratch, could I get away with setting up a saltwater tank using just this gear?

Or do I need extra bits like a sump (what's that all about btw?)?

Can't I just use a freshwater setup but with saltwater instead?

Sorry if that sounds daft, I'm just curious lol.
anyone?? lol just to have a go with really, i've been reading loads and i'm getting really excited about the whole marine tank thing, can't wait to get started, but i know i've got loads to learn still, so just thought i'd ask, see if anyone has any advice or tips, cheers
