introducing my new betta breeding pair

I recently acquired a male betta with a blue and black marble pattern, and I'm planning to breed him with a female Galaxy koi betta. They'll be paired up in a few weeks.

I'm really looking forward to this breeding project, especially since my first attempt was unexpected. I had ordered a group of females to keep my female betta company, but one of them turned out to be male. Any suggestions for names would be appreciated.

I think the female could be called Galaxy, that's a pretty obvious choice, or maybe Nebula or Stardust, those names seem fitting. Good luck with the breeding, I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Those bettas are stunning. I'd absolutely love to see a breeding journal from you, with photos and details on how you prepare them for mating and rear the young. It's not often we get to see the process, and I think many people would find it really interesting, especially with bettas being so popular.

I'm not great at coming up with names, but I really like the suggestions from @StripeSly - Galaxy, Nebula, and Stardust are all beautiful options.
