Feeding large polyp stony corals

I've been keeping a reef tank for a few years now, and I recently made the switch to mostly SPS with a few LPS corals. Lately, I've been thinking about feeding my LPS corals individually. My main question is, when I target feed the individual mouths or corallites, does that provide enough nutrients for the entire coral, or is it beneficial to feed as many mouths as possible? I'm guessing the answer might depend on the specific species, but the two LPS corals I'm referring to are a Syphyllia Wilsonii and an Ouphyllia. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

With corals like Syphyllia Wilsonii and Ouphyllia that have tissue connecting their polyps or mouths, you don't necessarily have to feed each individual mouth.

Most LPS corals have a network of tunnels within their skeleton that facilitate the sharing of nutrients. So, in the case of your Syphyllia Wilsonii and Ouphyllia, it's likely that feeding one or a few mouths will still benefit the entire coral.
