Does anyone know if they're still operating from Crewes Hill, their website seems outdated, no current stock list available.

Yeah they're still based in Crews Hill. I don't recall everything they've got in stock, but they usually have some pretty nice fish. They occasionally get something a bit different in too, which is always worth a look.

They've got a fair few fish still, and they've even started stocking discus now, I think.

They've been changing things up, turning some of the african tanks into discus, angels, and community tanks to appeal to a broader range of customers. Rick told me a couple weeks back that they'll be restocking the mbuna and open water tanks soon. I'd just give them a ring to see what's available and what they can get in for you.

Went out to SSA yesterday and was really let down - they weren't open despite the advertised hours. Had a chat with the shopkeeper next door and he said the owner's a bit hit or miss, so don't bother going by the opening times. Took a look around some of the other shops, including MA, but wasn't impressed. Will give it another go next week and make sure to call ahead first. How about you, slyzen, did you have any better luck when you visited?

Its understandable they're not always there, just the two of them running it. I've not been for weeks but I'm keen to get back, especially since I've just cleared out my 300 litre. I'll let you know what they've got next time I visit.

Been searching for a decent shop in Stevenage for ages, always end up going to St Albans or Enfield. Just found out there's a specialist aquatics in Stevenage that's moved to Crewes Hill, gutted I only just found out.

Just you wait till you see the quality of their stock. I picked up a zebra pair from them that's honestly one of the nicest I've ever laid eyes on.

I go to Crews Hill pretty regularly, but I'm not entirely sure where they're based, could you give me an idea of the location?
