Blimey, I think my Kribs are on the verge of breeding. Look what's changed overnight.
That cave is barely visible now.
Female's looking quite keen.
Male (new guy, arrived Tuesday) is already making moves.
As I said, I only got him on Tuesday, and they've bonded instantly. Both are proven breeders, but they'd lost their partners.
is kribs ready to breed?

Hope you've got a tank that's escape-proof.
Re: is kribs ready to breed?
only tank mates are Angels, they'll be rehomed with the fry if needed, got a spare 2ft tank ready
Re: is kribs ready to breed?
Pretty sure they're getting down to business, 99% certain she's spawning on the cave roof, male's in there with her too

Your Kribs' love life is on full display, like a private aquarium show

How big's the tank? Got the small Angels in there, the ones you posted pics of from NW section?
Re: is kribs ready to breed?
3ft x 1.5ft, 2 big ones, 2 small ones - they're chillin' in the planted corner for now, still getting used to the new space. The krib cave is out in the open, near the filter. Male's on lookout duty, but he's a soft touch - it's the female who's a handful.

I'd leave the Angels in, keep the 2ft on standby, just in case. Exciting times ahead, fingers crossed it all goes smoothly
Re: is kribs ready to breed?
She's got a real visual thing going on, always on the lookout and super protective - male gets chased off more often than not. One glance at the Angels and they're off, they've sussed her out already.
