You should definitely reach out to the shop, see if they'll replace him for you. I'd do a big water change now, like 75%, and give the gravel a good clean. Do the same for the next week, that way you can cut down on any disease that might be in the water. Just make sure to get the chlorine and chloramine out of the new water before adding it in.
