does this stocking list look good?

Post by knighto4 »

Hi everyone,

I've got a new 330 litre, 4 ft tank on the way and I'm excited to start stocking it. I've always had my heart set on a Frontosa, but I've been warned that 330 litres might be a bit too small for them. I thought I'd share some other fish I like the look of and see if anyone can spot any potential issues. Here are the names I'm considering:

[*]Cynotilapia afra Jalo Reef
[*]Aulonocara blue neon Hai Reef
[*]Aulonocara lwanda
[*]Aulonocara Orange Peacock
[*]Aulonocara baenschi benga

Can anyone give me an idea of how many I could realistically keep in the tank? I've also ordered a 2000L/H external filter from All Ponds Solutions - their stuff looks great. If anyone shops there, I found a discount code for 15% off: OCTOBER-15. I'm guessing it'll expire at the end of the month.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Cheers,
Phill

Frontosas do grow quite large, reaching around 30cm in length, which might make them a bit too big for my tank. I've noticed that most setups featuring them are species tanks with a small group of Frontosas, rather than a mixed community.
