Is my tank compatible

I've been thinking about setting up a lake Tanganyika community in my 3ft tank - it's 3x2x2 so around 85-90 gallons, I think. I'm interested in keeping a trio of calvus - one male, two females - and adding eight sardine cichlids. Would this work in a tank of this size, and are there any other fish I could consider adding to the community?
