It's not the fish

Post by bettaMagenta »

Most of my tanks were built over 20 years ago, sat empty for ages, and got refilled in the last year or two. They're usually only visible from the front, with a work area behind that's hidden from view. These pics aren't about showing off my fish, but the terrestrial plants growing out of my tanks - the "filters". This is a peek at areas nobody but me sees... sorry about the mess, it's just as is, no special cleaning or organizing. This first pic is my tank of the month entry from this month, taken a bit further back - you can see the wall above and below the tank.

A few of my tanks from the top, behind the wall - giving you a glimpse of the usually hidden areas.

Your setup looks really great, nice to see familiar methods being used for terrestrial plants. We seem to share a taste in plant species too. I really appreciate the way you've got everything set up, it's very well done.

Quite a setup you have there, I must say. The hose layout did catch my attention, and I'm not sure I'd have the patience to navigate that maze.
