Feeding acanthastrea corals

indonesian rainbow acanthastrea, they thrive on variety. 8 kinds food mix is what i'm using, seems to be working well.

I'm not convinced that's a feeding response, to be honest. The polyps look pretty retracted, and you can see the skeleton between them, which doesn't suggest happiness to me. When they're feeding, the polyps usually puff up and the tentacles come out. I think what's happening here is the coral's reacting to the food being blasted at it. Try letting the current carry the food to the coral instead, and I reckon you'll get a better result.
