considering sargassum

Post by nixora »

Still torn about the Sargassum Trigger, been going back and forth for days now. I mean, they're gorgeous and supposed to be reef safe, no issues with inverts, but it's a trigger, you know. Guess I'm just worried about the what-ifs.

I can understand why you're torn, nixora - Sargassum Triggers are stunning and supposed to be reef-safe, but triggers can be unpredictable. I'm a bit concerned about your inverts, though - you do have some rare ones, don't you? Just saying, you could always send them my way if things go south.

Sort of like having a beautiful angel in the tank, but with the potential for a Coflakes mess, I suppose.

Rare inverts + potential invert-eaters = stressed reefer, and I'm not getting much sleep over it.

To be honest, if I'm being totally upfront, the only invert I'm really worried about is the Antler crab - I think he'd be more likely to go for the shrimps, so if I get the Sargassum Trigger small enough, I'm pretty sure he'll be alright.
