I agree with this sentiment. The likelihood of your Asterina being the primary culprit in devouring your Zoas, rather than merely cleaning up the dead or dying ones affected by Zoa Pox, seems extremely low.

It really bumb me out cause I love Zoa's but never had success with my current tank, now I know why.

That's still up for debate, considering your Zoas were already struggling with illness. I'd appreciate an update on this thread in the coming month if you don't notice a significant turnaround in your Zoas' health. If no drastic improvement occurs, it's possible the Asterina weren't the primary issue, and sharing your findings will help others avoid making the same mistake of eliminating harmless creatures.
When clearing out pests from my reef tank, I view myself as the tank's version of a not reef-safe trigger fish, taking out threats that could harm my ecosystem.

I imagine being a clown trigger, coming across my own reef and encountering pests - I'd eradicate them too, for the sake of survival.

It's a harsh reality, but survival of the fittest comes first. This mindset helps me cope with the task of removing unwanted life from my tank.

I pulled a peppermint shrimp from my tank that was munching on my Frogspawn. Wild animals will be wild animals - just ask Siegfried and Roy.

Ordered a bumblebee shrimp from my LFS, hoping it'll help keep the Asterina population in check.

I'm getting my payback, the war on Asterina has just begun.

It's also referred to as a striped harlequin - allegedly, it's a big fan of Asterinas, along with other meaty treats. Problem with getting a harlequin for me is that it'd probably inhale all my starfish in one sitting, then be left starving.

You've got a bunch of Asterinas, I'd say go for a pair of harlequins, supposedly they do better that way.
