Is the aquaone trio tank right for you?

Post by finfisher »

I'm considering getting one of these tanks as an all-in-one setup for my three betta fish, but I'm a bit concerned the space might be too limited. Would love to hear from someone with experience keeping bettas in a similar setup - is it feasible or should I be looking at a larger tank?

To better assess the tank's suitability for finfisher's needs, could you please provide the total volume or dimensions of the tank?

It's worth noting that betta care guidelines generally advise against keeping them in anything smaller than 2.5 gallons, with 5 gallons being the recommended minimum, as this provides the fish with sufficient space to thrive.

Thanks for the advice, the tank is 35 litres, with dimensions of 55 x 25 x 25 cm, so I'm hoping it's big enough for my three bettas, but I'm still a bit worried it might be too small.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of it, but it's doable. The tank's just too cramped for the bettas. It's not right for them. Each fish needs around 20-25 litres of space, and with three, it's a tight squeeze.

Thanks for the honest opinion, it's a nay then. The design is really well thought out, I love the rear filter, it's clear they put some effort into that. Just a shame they didn't apply the same consideration to the size, would've been perfect otherwise.
