Is there mold on my red root floaters?

I was checking out my 10g tank where I keep my gudgeons and I noticed something weird on some of the red root floaters. I'm not sure what it is - can someone tell me what's going on here and if it's something I should be worried about?

I'm pretty sure it's not gonna harm anything. Just rinse those plants under the faucet, get the old water out, and do some changes. I get that stuff in my tank too, and it clears up after I do a good cleaning.
