Ok, so I've got this 20 gallon long tank and I need some help picking the rest of my fish - just give me the better option, no need for a long explanation.
Option 1:
1 firtideflow
2 false perc clowns
1 royal gramma
1 six line wrasse
Option 2:
1 firtideflow
2 false perc clowns
1 royal gramma
Option 3:
1 firtideflow
2 false perc clowns
1 six line wrasse
Which one is better?
company stock listings
Re: company stock listings
I'd recommend option #1, provided you're on top of your water changes. However, I'd advise against the six line wrasse due to its aggression. A flasher wrasse would be a better choice - it's just as colourful and has a great personality, but is generally more peaceful.
Re: company stock listings
I agree with zenoxa on both points. What's the plan for this tank - FO, FOWLR, or Reef?
Re: company stock listings
it's gonna be a reef tank eventually, but for now it's just fowlr
Re: company stock listings
I'd choose option 2, seems like the safest bet for my FOWLR setup before it becomes a reef.
Re: company stock listings
Option 4: 1 firtideflow, 2 false perc clowns, 1 flasher wrasse
Re: company stock listings
Considering option 4, I'm curious about the clownfish choice - would maroon clowns be possible or are they indeed too aggressive for this setup?
Re: company stock listings
Maroon clowns grow quite large, might not be the best fit for a 20 gallon tank.
Re: company stock listings
A single maroon could work in a 20 long, but that's about it - maybe add a small goby to complement.
Re: company stock listings
I'll pass on the maroon then. Will a flasher wrasse go after bristle worms?
