I'm looking to sell a couple things from my tank and I was wondering if I could get some price feedback. I've never sold anything from my tank before, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing.
I'll just post some pics and give a quick rundown of what I've got.
My Duncan has 8 decent-sized heads - 2-3 inches each - and then it's got a smaller one that's about an inch, plus two tiny ones that are only a quarter inch. What do you think it's worth?
My frog spawn just split from one 6-inch head into two 3-inch heads, and it's got 7 new babies growing from its skirt. How much would you pay for the whole thing?
Coral pricing and value

Idk why pics r sideways sry
Re: Coral pricing and value
Duncans usually go for around 5 bucks per head around here, assuming it's fully grown. Babies aren't factored into the price, so the smaller ones on your Duncan wouldn't add much value. The frogspawn's probably worth around 10 bucks, and like I said, the babies don't really count for pricing.
Re: Coral pricing and value
My frogspawn was originally listed for 189.99 before it split. Where are you based that you're getting them for $5 a head? I checked Liveaquaria and they're selling them for 189.99 plus 62 for shipping, and that's for a large one.
Re: Coral pricing and value
I'd say those corals would likely fetch between 15 to 20 bucks in my area, considering they're pretty common and readily available at most local fish stores.

I agree, +1. To get a better idea of the size, could we get some clearer pics? 6 inches is a pretty decent size, so I'd love to see them from a better angle.

Check local listings for a better gauge of prices in your area. Around here, you can find frogspawn and hammers for about $10-15 per head, and the duncan usually goes for less. I've noticed that my local fish store tends to overcharge - they want an arm for a single duncan, a leg for a frogspawn, and you'd have to give up a lot more for a good colony.
