I've been super busy lately, so I've only been feeding my Betta once a day with pellets - usually it's twice a day, but a couple of days a week I'm only managing once. Is this going to be alright for my fish?

For my regular Bettas, I usually give them 2-3 pellets per feeding. My Gkento4t Betta gets a bit more, 3-4 pellets. Occasionally, I'll also give them some flakes as a change of pace.
I've noticed my bettas seem to thrive on 4 pellets, twice daily - their colors get deeper and they're way more lively. Anything less, like 2 pellets, and it's just not the same. I'm not sure about once a day feeding with just 2 pellets, seems like it might not be enough. Can you squeeze in that second feeding before bed, or are you out of the house a lot?

I usually manage to fit in a second feeding, but there are a couple of nights when it's just not possible. I've been cautious with my smaller females, only giving them 2 pellets since they expand in water, but I appreciate your input and will definitely increase their food intake.
