My kid was munching on Nerds while playing with this old rainbow gravel stuff and his toys on the table. He ended up spilling some Nerds. I figured, why waste 'em, so I picked 'em up and ate them.
Turns out, two of those "Nerds" weren't candy. Now I've got firsthand experience of what gravel tastes like – and let's just say it's not exactly the same as a sweet treat.

The real test comes later. When they, ah, re-emerge. That's when you'll be thinking about the whole "gravel as candy" mix-up. I've heard people talk about "s***ing bricks," but never "passing pebbles." Guess there's a reason for that.

I always thought Grape Nuts cereal would be similar to eating aquarium gravel - the texture, that is.
