keeping h. reidi seahorses

Post by kodarix8 »

Got my seahorses on the perfect day - Valentines Day. They're absolutely stunning. The guy I got them from gave me some river shrimp to help them start eating, and they just dove right in. Amazing eaters, I'm telling you. When they eat, they make this clicking noise that's actually pretty loud.

Anyway, here they are, and yeah, they're captive-bred - the price was a bit steep, but worth it. I'm surprised they've kept their colour so well, not a single one's turned grey yet. Both of them are looking great.

Her's a pic of them for now. I'll get some more pics up tomorrow. Planning on trying frozen mysis next, see how that goes.

They're absolutely amazing, aren't they. Would love more pics, especially of them eating and that clicking noise.

Just fed them some frozen mysis today and they chomped it down no problem.

Female's looking great still

Male's still got that awesome colour

Both of them together, still loving the clicking noise when they eat

Lovely seahorses, by the way. What's the tank size, if you don't mind me asking?
