Got this in the mail and it showed up looking pretty rough. Mostly just a skeleton, fresh cut, and I couldn't even make out an eye.
A week went by and there's barely anything left. I'm pretty sure it's a goner, but there's this tiny speck of living flesh still clinging on.
We decided last week to give it some time and see if it'd pull through, but I'm not holding my breath.
Is this jellybean coral acceptable?
Re: Is this jellybean coral acceptable?
Not looking good, I know. Put it in low flow, low light, and give it some time to recover. I'd usually say dip it, but it's already super stressed. I've had chalices arrive in similar condition, they receded bad, but they looked like fresh cuts too. Just gotta wait it out and see what happens. Had a mini crash recently, my chalices receded to about that size, but they seem to be doing alright now. Just hoping they start growing again. Fingers crossed for yours.
