Just hit the jackpot, got enough frags to call this a quasi garden now. Still got a few more scattered around the tank, but I'm always on the lookout for cheap, vibrant frags. Scored this bunch for a steal at 20 bucks - crazy deal if you ask me.
Don't bother me with the name game, it's all just a bunch of hype to me. But, I'll give you the lowdown on what I've got so far. Give it a couple months and my overflow pipe will be covered in growth. Got three more mini colonies not pictured that were supposedly VDM, Captain America's, and jerk palys, but without the paperwork, they're just pretty zoas to me - "looks like" is all I can say.
My simple zoa garden setup
Re: My simple zoa garden setup
They're gonna look awesome once they fill in the empty space with more polyps, gonna be a sweet little garden.
Re: My simple zoa garden setup
That's gonna be awesome to see them fill out. Hopefully they'll grow faster than the ones in my tank, which seem to be stuck in slow motion.
Re: My simple zoa garden setup
Yeah, wouldn't that just be my luck, haha.

Re: My simple zoa garden setup
Ugh, just couldn't resist, added a bunch more zoas to the mix...my addiction to this hobby just got a whole lot worse, now I'm hooked on these little guys too...at least I'm still not buying into the name game, saving myself from shelling out crazy cash...although, I did treat myself to a colony of blue ridge coral, figured why not.
Re: My simple zoa garden setup
I just used some reef-safe glue and slapped them on there, lol, didn't want to overthink it, figured they'd find a way to stick around.

Got some extras, wanna take 'em off my hands
