Can you spare 60 seconds to reassure a worried newbie about their fish's health?

They appear to be in good condition.

I'm no expert, never kept this type of fish, but what's up with the one zooming around the glass in the corner?

Yeah, that's one of my loaches, they can be a bit quirky, racing around like that.

What makes you think there's an issue with them? Are your water parameters all in line?

I've got a nitrite issue.

My ammonia and nitrates test fine, but nitrites are high. I do regular water changes, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I'm thinking my tank might still be in the cycling process - it's been up and running for about two months now.

My main concern is that I'll end up killing all my fish, but so far they seem happy and none have died yet.

Can you give your exact test results? I'd like to know the numbers. Nitrites should be zero if your tank's cycled. I'm a bit confused, did you mean nitrates are high, not nitrites?

Thanks,
Steve
