How long does indian almond leaf extract remain effective

Post by flumon »

I'm thinking of trying out a different approach with my almond leaves. Instead of adding them directly to the tank during water changes, I'm considering making a large batch of extract by boiling lots of Indkento4 almond leaves in water. Has anyone else tried this method? If so, how long did you find the extract remained effective for?

Boil it, then let it cool, cover it up tightly and stick it in the fridge. I just leave the leaves in there, toss it in a jar with a lid and it's good to go. You can keep it for about seven weeks, no problem. Don't forget to add a bit of dechlorinator and warm it up a tad before adding it to your tank.
