cutting anubis
I need to trim it back since it's getting too big for the lava rock it's on. Can anyone tell me where's the best spot to cut it so I can try to regrow it?
Re: cutting anubis
You'll want to cut the rhizome at the end that's growing, which in the photo looks like it's on the right side. Cut it just behind the last node, that's the point where the leaf grows from the rhizome. If you want a second plant, cut it back to leave seven or so nodes with leaves, the cut piece should keep growing and you can plant it on another rock or wood.
I've never actually done this, so I'm not 100 percent, but I'm guessing the older part will just send out another growing tip. Leaving it alone to keep growing off the rock can work too, though.
