Can i have baby snails with only one parent?

I decided to try a random experiment and see what would happen, so I put a wire tree in a 1.5ltr glass bottle. The result was quite nice, as you can see from the picture.

I added two snails from different species to keep the algae off the glass, and to prevent overpopulation, I chose species that wouldn't mate. However, a couple of weeks ago, I moved the ramshorn snail to my drinks dispenser aquarium. Tonight, I was shocked to find three tiny ramshorn snails and a little one. I'm still trying to figure out how this is possible.

I'm rather perplexed by this, I added the snail ages ago and I'd have thought the little ones would be bigger by now, considering how much time has passed.

Could be the tank's too small, stunted their growth maybe

I've got ramshorns in different colors, like brown and black, and the babies can be a mix of those colors, or something in between. It's all about the genetics, you know, genotypes and all that.

I'm just going to let it grow for now and see what happens. I've noticed some baby ramshorns can be clear and microscopic at first, it's pretty cool.
