sera florena tabs

Post by PetmanY »

I put some in two days ago. Still haven't dissolved. Honestly, they're still sitting there looking pretty ugly.

florenette ? yeah i'm a user too, i bury them deep in the gravel near my plant roots. takes about 10 days to completely dissolve in my experience. if it doesn't vanish instantly, that's a good sign - it's slowly releasing nutrients into the gravel.

I'm pretty sure those are the ones.

I have to admit, I didn't get the whole burying thing - the instructions kinda threw me off.

I do bury the florenaplus, but now I'm all confused about the others - I didn't bury those. Guess I'll try that next time. Thanks for the tip!

I'm really happy with my Florenaplus tabs, they're doing a great job. I've been using Sera Florenette A tablets and I've seen a big difference, they work really well for me.

I'm pretty sure I've got the same ones too. Got a starter kit with a mix of ferts and a co2 system, still waiting to see the results.

We're also on the Sera Florenette A. We've also got a liquid plant food going in daily. Do we still need to swap out the Florenette as often as the pack says, or does the liquid food take some of the load off?

I position the tabs near the roots of my rosette plants, like swords and crypts, and bury them in the gravel close to the roots.

I'd say stick to the recommended dosage for the florenette, especially if you're root feeding plants like swords and crypts. However, if you're noticing algae growth, it might be worth cutting back a bit on the liquid plant food.

I've got the Sera Florenette A tablets but the instructions are MIA. Can someone give me the lowdown on the recommended dosage and all that jazz? Would really appreciate it, thanks.

Here's the info from the packet... Directions for use: put 1 tablet of sera florenette A in every 20 liters (5 gal) of water once a week. Place them close to the roots.

Also, if you get new plants, trim the roots with sharp scissors before planting - this helps the plant take up nutrients quickly.
