help with bloating issues

Post by Dawnrider »

I've been dealing with my betta's physical issues for a bit now, and his bloating is still a major concern. I previously mentioned that people suggested I get daphnia since peas didn't work out, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get my parents to pick some up for me. In the meantime, I'm worried he's going without food for too long. Should I try to find a temporary alternative, or just hold off on feeding him until the daphnia arrives?

Edit: I just remembered something - every time I give him a pea, his bloating seems to get even worse. I'm assuming the same would happen with his regular food; it's like it just clogs him up more. He's really swollen and I'm getting worried that if the daphnia doesn't help clear things up, I might be in trouble.
