my first pair of clownfish arrived last night
my first pair of clownfish arrived last night
these little clown fish are literally the happiest i've ever seen - they're loving their new tank, swimming and playing in the current all day today. still planning on adding a couple of anemones for them to snuggle up on at night, no signs of stress so far. added a packet of bio marine spera before introducing them to the tank, seems to be doing the trick. really looking forward to the tank maturing more so i can start adding other stuff like coflake etc.

Clownfish are looking top notch, mate. I'd hold off on the anemones for now, give the tank a bit more time to settle. What's the tank size, btw?
Re: my first pair of clownfish arrived last night
thx, its a 30 gallon
Re: my first pair of clownfish arrived last night
Be careful with anemones in a small tank like that. 30 gallons is a bit on the low side for them, if you ask me. That rock you've got in there looks pretty sweet though.

Read through all the perspectives and decide for yourself – that's what makes this hobby so intriguing, right? There's always room for debate and experimentation. I've noticed zenoxa often brings up unconventional ideas, which I appreciate. Despite his age, his posts are always insightful and well beyond his years. He's speaking from experience, and I think it's worth considering his point of view.
Re: my first pair of clownfish arrived last night
thanks for the heads up, but i think i'll give the anemone a shot, nice rock comment appreciated

Yeah, the dominant clownfish will claim its territory in the tank, that's pretty normal behavior for them.
