Seeking advice from experienced frontosa keepers (includes photos)

Wondering if anyone can ID these Frontosas for me? They're about 2" - are they decent quality?

Honestly, I'm not familiar with Frontosas. From what I know about juvenile fish in general, though, their bellies shouldn't be concave - it can be a sign of health issues or inadequate feeding, which ultimately affects their well-being.

I'm no expert on Frontosas, but I'd say give them some time to mature. Where did you pick them up from, by the way? Generally, if you get fish from reputable breeders, you can expect good quality.

I agree with pastime1, they do look like they could use some fattening up. I've found it's easier to separate the juveniles from the larger fish for now, so they can get enough to eat, then you can introduce them to the bigger ones when they're around 3 inches.

Yeah I'm aware they need fattening up, they came with a bunch of other fish I got off Gumtree and to be honest, most of them were a bit thin. I've just dosed the tank for internal parasites and worms too, so hopefully that'll help.
