I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who's helped and shared their experiences with their sick betta. My own betta was on the verge of death - he'd stopped eating, stopped moving, and was breathing heavily, with his fins starting to rot. But thanks to this forum, he's made a remarkable recovery.
It's been a long process, involving various medications, tank conditioners, stress coats, and water testing kits, all through trial and error. But finally, he's getting back to his old self. Now, I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for fins to regrow. He didn't start with fin rot, but all the stress and illness took a toll on him, causing him to lose some of his fins and color. Thankfully, the color has come back, and the fin rot has stopped, so I'm just waiting to see how long it takes for them to grow back.

Re: grateful for betta rescue advice
Glad to hear your betta's on the mend. Fins generally take a month or two to regrow to their full size. What medication ended up being the game-changer for your guy?
