Lepto tissue decay in corals

Post by staraqua »

I recently acquired a Jason Fox Jack O Lantern Lepto frag from a fellow reefer and it's developed some blackness along one side, which I'm assuming is tissue decay. I'd like to know what steps I can take to address this issue.

As for placement, I've come across conflicting information and I'm looking for some clarification. Where's the ideal spot for this frag to thrive?

I've had my Jason fox jack o lantern lepto for 3 weeks now, and I've been keeping it in low light and low flow conditions. The growth has been really good so far, which is promising.

Thanks for the advice, ravenoak - really appreciate the input on the placement. Low light and low flow seems to be the way to go, I'll have to try that.
