That's solid progress, man. Stability's key with Bettas, especially in community setups. What's your temp at? I've found keeping it at 78°F with a reliable heater cuts down on stress. Also, what're you feeding the Corys? They can be picky if the substrate's not right.

I believe TMC is a major supplier for fish, the ones that local fish stores usually buy from. I've also considered getting a mandarin, but I decided against it due to their low survival rates in captivity, unless you're lucky enough to find one that's already feeding on frozen, like Seffie mentioned.

not sure to be honest Lionest mate, i suppose anything the same size or smaller than the angler could be seen as a potential meal down the line, so your smallest fish might be at risk. I've only ever seen them in LFS's with other unusual fish, like a box fish for example. They're definitely an eye ...

I've read they mainly go for small fish and shrimp, seems they're alright with reef setups though, liveaquaria says so anyway.

I'm curious about chalices in an SPS tank. Will they thrive or should I choose one type over the other for a healthy tank?
